How Barcelona transport passes compare
The T-Casual (€13 for 10 trips in Zone 1) is the best-value card for most visitors on a 3–7 day trip who take 3–4 metro trips per day. It does not cover the airport metro (L9 Sud), so add a separate airport ticket if needed.
The Hola Barcelona card covers unlimited transport including the airport metro — making it the right choice if you arrive by L9 or take many trips per day. Break-even is roughly 7 trips/day versus T-Casual.
The Articket (€38) gives skip-the-line access to 6 art museums and saves around €46 if you visit all six. It does not include Sagrada Família, Park Güell or Casa Batlló — those are always booked separately.
